Hi, I'm Kathy.

I like to make things. In 2013 I became overly fascinated with keys and made a bunch of "key" sculptures and took them out into the world: some people loved them, some people were indifferent to them, and some people really really wanted them to be jewellery...a longish story which led to the vow:

"I'm going to make 5000 keys and none of them will be jewellery!"

5000 Keys to Infinite Places is an art adventure project exploring the creation of 5000 unique “key” sculptures and prints made mostly from found and upcycled objects. Materials are glued together and coated in an eco-friendly resin from Manitoba. Keys can be held gently, displayed in a variety of ways, and are typically different on each side.

Join me as I make 5000 keys

(and a few other projects along the way)!
