Scraps: Keys 1801 - 1808

Scraps: Keys 1801 - 1808

There were so many lovely bits of black cardstock pieces leftover from the Faux Stained Glass Keys that they just sort of made themselves into keys. I decided to put them into colourful “keyholes”:

I used a “fairy wing” cellophane for this key - it thickens up and becomes even more iridescent when heated; this is a little more obvious on the other side of Key 1801.

I put some clear cellophane over this Key 1802 design to help keep it in place - but I didn’t like the way it subdued the black so I didn’t do that for any of the other keys in this little Scrappy series.

I used some more “fairy wing” magic cellophane for Key 1804 (only this time I heated up the plastic before I used it so that the keyhole wouldn’t get pulled out of shape like it did for Key 1801).
