Keys 1942 - 1949: Transition

Keys 1942 - 1949: Transition

A long time ago in pre-COVID Canadian times I was working away on making 5000 keys in a variety of ways. Well, mostly from found and upcycled objects, but really, in whatever way caught my creative fancy. Key 1942 is from that pre-time and is made from pieces of an old adding machine. I like the aesthetic of this key and was happy with my improving resin skills here (a fairly even coating with minimal drips!).

Now we are in COVID Canadian (and world) times and I am still making keys. Although I did stop for many months as I adjusted to working from home (super busy but I do like it) and finished off some other art projects.

Here are my latest keys (some that were mostly done before March and some that are truly new creations). Clearly my resin skills have gone a bit downhill from lack of use - but all I can do is keep going so that is what I will do!
