In Hand - Keys 2678 - 2684

Key 2678 is made from a metal rod, antique adding machine parts (circa 1903), metal clips, part of a guitar tuning key holder thing (no idea what that part is actually called), beads, rhinestones, and other bits of jewelry.

Key 2679 is mostly made from road finds (where there always seems to be an abundance of washers) and a little bit of jewelry to tie it together.

Key 2680 is also made mostly from found objects - most of theses were found in the alley by the art supply store - the watch parts were from a piece of jewelry someone else had made.

The four multi-coloured beads in the centre of Key 2681 were made by me many years ago at a lampworked glass workshop in Red Deer. The large glass bead near the bottom of the key was made by my instructor. The blue beads on the ends are actually stone beads from the Rock and Gen show. The bamboo piece at the top was an earring gifted to me by a colleague for key-making purposes.

Key 2682 is made from a bicycle spoke and many pieces of upcycled jewelry (including a lovely vintage brooch).

Key 2683 is made from a flattened bracelet, earrings, two necklaces, and rhinestones.

Key 2684 is made from a shower curtain hook, some buckles, a Robertson screwdriver, rhinestones, jewelry bits, a very fancy watch clasp, a vintage brooch, and a dogtag.
