Old and New Supplies: Keys 2785 - 2793
I’ve been having fun making keys with some rusty shower hooks that recently retired. I also uncovered an older bin of supplies that had some lovely metal rings. Here’s what I’ve made:
Key 2785 is made from a piece of gold cutlery, shower curtain ring scraps, a lovely vintage brooch, part of a watch, jewellery bits, and some weird squished metal piece with three oval shaped rings attached to it.
Key 2786 is made from a shiny bejeweled silver bracelet, a plate from a vintage Singer sewing machine, iridescent beads, and other jewellery bits.
Key 2787 is made from a lovely butterfly brooch, chains, and sparkly jewellery bits.
Key 2788 is a very large key - made with three black bangles, a brass piece, half of a a big sparkly hair clip, a metal piece that is most likely from a light fixture (but could be from a cupboard door - can’t quite remember), and other jewellery bits.
Key 2789 is made from some of those rediscovered rings, part of a long rusty metal stick, a piece of shower curtain hook, and jewellery bits.
Key 2790 is made from more of those metal rings, part of a watch, sparkly jewellery bits, and part of a plate-display stand.
Key 2791 is made from shower hooks, another piece of that metal rod, jewellery bits, and a vintage brooch on the other side of the key.
Key 2792 is made from shower hooks, a Singer Sewing machine plate from a very old machine, another piece of that metal rod, and pieces of an owl necklace pendant that was very popular in the 2000’s (and was contributed to this work by my daughter).
Key 2793 is made from Allen keys, found objects, and jewellery bits.
