Back to the Resin: Keys 2817 - 2820
I decided to go back to using resin to finish these 100 paper keys to the Remarkable Door in order to make them stronger. Slowly I am getting better at doing that (although I need to tell myself to slow down and not try and resin everything at once). The resin is rather labour intensive though so I will, once again, use the shellac spray on the large, somewhat strong, snowflake-like keys and use the resin on the more delicate paper quilled ones. This first Key 2817 has a few “flaws” because I unwittingly cut through some of the pattern. I do like the variety in this key and think it has more personality because it isn’t “perfect”.
