Key 2680
One-of-a-kind Key Sculpture made from watch parts, ball chain, washers, the top of a lighter, nail clippers, a squished pen, old jewelry, and other metal bits; parts are glued together and entire key is coated in eco-friendly resin from Manitoba. Most of the parts of this key were found in alleyways in Saskatoon.
Key 2680 in the 5000 Keys to Infinite Places Series. No two keys the same. All jewellery in this art series is upcycled and comes from gifts/donations, thrift stores, garage sales, and sometimes along the side of the road.
Key 2680 is a key with some complex inner workings that appears simple on first glance.
Key can be displayed in a variety of ways (on a shelf, wall, framed, etc.). Key can be held and gently handled; parts will likely break off if the key is dropped.
Key 2680 is approximately 4¾“ long by 1½” wide and ¼“ deep
